Survive Your Breakup: Without Losing Your Confidence and Self Esteem

Life can seem crazy after you have suffered a breakup and you don't know how you will ever survive from it. You may think that you had everything under control but when you experience a break up; all that stability seems to dissipate. Life as it was before does not exist. Yet, you need to learn the ways to bring tranquility back in your life and get through the hurdle of life especially if your goal is win back your
ex. There are 3 ways to do this.
Survive a Breakup (1)
You need to be aware that the feelings of anger and pain that you are experiencing are normal. However, you don't want them to control your actions or the things you say. Letting them takes the reigns can ruin any chance of winning your ex back. Stop being in contact or seeing your ex, the less contact you have the less chance you have of lashing out at your ex. This also gives you time and space to know if your ex is the one for you.
Survive a Breakup (2)
Don't allow the grief you feel to take over your life. Don't sit around with the curtains drawn, eating junk food and watching sad movies all day. A behavioral pattern such as this can become routine and can be very hard to come out of. Instead, stay active not only physically but socially too.
Survive a Breakup (3)
Work on bettering yourself. Make a plan and abide by it. If you don't like certain flaws you have, fix them (if you can). If there are certain physical aspects or even behavioral ones you need to work on, this is the time to do work on them. Rebuild your confidence and get back your self-esteem.
While these 3 tips are necessary, they are the things you need to survive after a breakup.

Practice Communication in your Marriage

Most couples believe they need better communication skills and that would change their relationship for the better. They claim that they either argue because of misunderstandings or that one or the other don’t discuss their problems openly. Communication (or lack of it) is often NOT the problem Most couples have re-hashed issues over and over and they know what their partner’s position is. The issue is often that they do not accept the partner’s position and are “trying” to get them to change to see their side. And we know how that usually goes; right? It does not happen. So often communication problems will boil down to “they are not listening to me or they would change their behavior”; or “they don’t care enough about me to change”. Neither of these thought processes are helpful to building and sustaining a fabulous relationship. Breakdowns in communication are often the way in which each partner successfully maintains a balance of power. Power and control issues usually ex...
