Problems. Everyone has them. But are the situations that we are
fixating our eyes on really the problems? I have said for some time,
€People say they have money problems€¦ but rest assured, money is not
the problem.€ If you think about it then you would most likely agree
that we can do a fine job of creating our own worries with or without
money.
The one common aspect I have notice over the years when coaching people i
s that we, as humans, are not a balanced race. We are quite the opposite. Most people I've coached is very extreme in their actions one way or the other. So here are 3 tips to prevent the loss of peace and happiness from your daily life.
This bit of insight is mainly designed to create a focus more so than to deal with multiple problems at once. So take your time and enjoy the journey.
1. Watch What You Eat
This is sound advice, especially for those who have physical health problems. I agree that anyone with or without health problems should try to eat healthy. However, this is not the eating I'm referring to for this topic. I'm talking about in a spiritual and mental sense.
Anything we receive as information or truth from anyone we my know or not be acquainted with is a type of consumption or eating for the mind and spirit. This can be more fatal in some cases than eating poorly for your physical body. If we believe something to be true not matter what anyone says, then we put ourselves at the mercy of the source from which the information came.
So how do we feed our mind and spirit? First, we plan our life according to what we need and want out of it in the long run. Do we want to have a fun filled, joyous, and adventurous life or do we want one filled with negativity, failure, and despair? The choice is ours and we need to keep people around us that will help foster the environment we need to achieve our desired life. Remember that a rose cannot naturally grow in the dark €¦ environment is key!
2. Meditate on Your Beliefs
Many say this is taking a step backwards, but I have seen this step take people to levels they would have never achieved. Yes, it seems asinine to meditate on what you believe and question your beliefs at the same time, however, if you're willing to learn from corrected flawed beliefs then you'll go far!
This principle came to me when I had been associated with many religious organizations and I came to a point in my life where I wanted the truth. I took everything I had learned and put it to the side other than the aspects that had been tried and proven to be true. I then questioned all personal thoughts as well as doctrines associated with them. The results were profound. I not only made a changed for the better but caused positive change in other peoples life because they couldn't answer simple questions about their own beliefs. This spurred a yearning for the need of people to begin their own research and find out who they really were€¦ including me.
Once the challenges were issued and changes were made, people began to fall in love with themselves. This in turn inspires more confidence and stability as an individual. So when you begin to challenge yourself, do it gently and be patient with you and the others around you. The results can be astonishing.
3. Live What You Believe€¦ Meditation in Action
Have you ever heard the expression, €You need to practice what you preach.€ Well, I say to preach what you practice. At least you're already doing it and you can simply share your experiences with others. I couldn't imagine trying to give principles that I do not practice or trying to get down myself. This produces an unstable life.
Once you've re-engineered your beliefs and your surroundings, it's time for you to enjoy your life. Simply take a deep breath (taking in all the fresh insight you€ve uncovered), exhale, look up to the sky and say there are no limits. Now€¦ go forward and enjoy what you've been given!
