Do you want to know how to start a conversation with a guy? Well, have you ever started one? Whether you've tried but it didn't work out well, or you've never tried at all, then this article is for you.
Talking to men is actually very easy, as theyre usually less guarded than women. W

hy wait for them to make the first move, right?
Read on to find out how to start a conversation with a guy.

Tip # 1: Talk About Sports.

Most guys follow sports news; so if you want to have a lengthy conversation with a guy, try doing your research about the sports team he is supporting.

Dont even dare try shooting for the moon without reviewing your notes first. Saying something dumb about his favorite team, or the sport in general, will most likely put you in a bad light.

While you dont have to be as knowledgeable about a sport as guys usually are, it does help if you have at least an inkling of what youre talking about. Try getting to know the sport and you might find yourself enjoying it all.

Someone I know tried watching wrestling to understand her boyfriend better. To her surprise, she ended up enjoying the whole thing. Shes not a major wrestling enthusiast, but she does know her wrestlers and can name a few of her favorites!

Not a sports fan? Thats fine. Just remember that the more you stand out, the more interesting you are to guys.

Tip # 2: Ask Him Questions.

One good way on how to start a conversation with a guy is to stroke his ego. Ask him about something that happened to your car, or about why everyones rooting for this famous basketball player who recently switched teams.

Ask him about something he will surely know how to answer. Of course, you cant keep asking him questions all throughout the conversation. You have to at least present a few personal insights on the matter, or hell get the impression that youre just pretending to be interested.

Tip # 3: Dont Dig Too Deep.

Guys might appear more relaxed and off guard, but dig too deep into their personal life and theyll start retreating for the woods.

Keep the topic of conversation light and easy. Aside from sports and their areas of expertise, talk about food or the new movie that opened in town. Who knows? That just might be the opening hes been waiting for to ask you out!

Its easy to learn how to start a conversation with a guy. Unlike many women who like to dissect every sentence, most men take things in stride.

So often communication problems will boil down to “they are not listening to me or they would change their behavior”; or “they don’t care enough about me to change”. Neither of these thought processes are helpful to building and sustaining a fabulous relationship. Breakdowns in communication are often the way in which each partner successfully maintains a balance of power. Power and control issues usually ex...

Ways in which a Perception Of Someone can Be Defined By How Other People Describe Them

There are times when one will meet someone without knowing anything about them and then there are other times when this won’t be the case. In this instance, one will have heard about the other before person they have even met them. When this happens, one can feel as though they already know the other person, and even though they haven’t met them, they may feel the need to behave in a certain way. And the way in which they behave can all depend on how the other person describes them. First Impression This can mean that their first impression of the other person won’t be formed through being in their presence; it will be formed through listening to what other people say. It then might not matter how accurate their descriptions are, as one can believe they are finding out what someone is like.
