How to Cultivate Happy Thoughts Everyday

Everyone likes to be happy in their relationships, jobs and environment. What is the biggest threat that comes in the way of happiness? It is nothing else but negative thoughts or a negative mindset. We will always have negative experiences in our lives but it is not necessary to feel bad about it. We should be optimistic at all times and remain cheerful. The best way to be happy is to cultivate happy thoughts in your mind. If you are feeling happy about any event, person, experience or dream in the past or futu
re, they can be called happy thoughts.
Let's look at some ways in which we can avoid regrets and cultivate happy thoughts each day of our lives.
1- Nothing is Permanent
Happiness and sadness, satisfaction and guilt are all passing emotions. We cannot hold on to a particular emotion at any stage in our life.
We need to understand that the pain we feel today will not be there tomorrow. Time will heal our wounds. Any bad experience you may have had doesn't have to put you down, that experience may teach you something useful that can be used to bail you out of a crisis in the future.
Take every moment as a learning experience because you never know how that knowledge may come useful to you in the future.
2- Don't Carry Regrets
Once you are able to take every experience of your life in a spirit of learning, you are freed from the slavery of regret. Thinking about regrets pulls your energy down and you start blaming your past actions for everything that is happening to you now.
Instead we must take responsibility for all our actions. You could have the feeling that one of your past actions/decisions was wrong and could have been taken in a different way.
We must respect the fact that we have done a particular thing believing in ourselves and according to the scenario we were in.
3- Acknowledge Goodness
See goodness in the small and big things around you. Acknowledge the beauty of nature, love of other people and your talents.
Look at the positive side of all situations. Use humor to cut out negativity and lavish praise on good deeds.
Give to people who are in need, you never know how much happiness it will give you. Value the amount of time you have with you and feel happy about it.
Whenever good things happen to you, share it and cherish it as a happy thought.
4- Look at Different Perspectives
Every human is unique and has their own set of positive/negative qualities. Avoid judging people because we never know their true needs or feelings.
Be grateful for everything you have. A person winning a bronze medal is delighted that he has won a medal whereas the person who has won a silver medal is disappointed that they missed out on the gold medal.
Appreciate how fortunate you are. Think about all the happy moments and great people you have come across in life.
5- Think Long Term
What are the consequences of feeling gloomy, crying or criticizing others? What benefit do I get if I remain cheerful, think positive and cultivate happy thoughts throughout the day?
Having happy thoughts and staying optimistic can only help me in the long run whereas the opposite will only make me feel miserable. You and I like to be around cheerful people.
If you are a happy personality, more and more people will be attracted to you. You will be able to maintain great relationships and deal with every situation in the best way possible.
6- Everything is in Your Control
You have the power to remain happy or become sad. Indulge in things that excite you, check out a new activity every day.
Share your positivity with others, enjoy company of people you like and remember to take risks in life. If you are able to see everything in a positive light, you will end up having only happy thoughts.
Be ready to express yourself and imagine good things for your future. Live everyday being happy in your present and hoping the best for your future. Never take negativity to heart, instead strive to make your dreams a reality with positive steps each day.
Cultivating happy thoughts will take some time but eventually it will become a habit for you and it will come naturally. Do not give up and be consistent.

Practice Communication in your Marriage

Most couples believe they need better communication skills and that would change their relationship for the better. They claim that they either argue because of misunderstandings or that one or the other don’t discuss their problems openly. Communication (or lack of it) is often NOT the problem Most couples have re-hashed issues over and over and they know what their partner’s position is. The issue is often that they do not accept the partner’s position and are “trying” to get them to change to see their side. And we know how that usually goes; right? It does not happen. So often communication problems will boil down to “they are not listening to me or they would change their behavior”; or “they don’t care enough about me to change”. Neither of these thought processes are helpful to building and sustaining a fabulous relationship. Breakdowns in communication are often the way in which each partner successfully maintains a balance of power. Power and control issues usually ex...

Ways in which a Perception Of Someone can Be Defined By How Other People Describe Them

There are times when one will meet someone without knowing anything about them and then there are other times when this won’t be the case. In this instance, one will have heard about the other before person they have even met them. When this happens, one can feel as though they already know the other person, and even though they haven’t met them, they may feel the need to behave in a certain way. And the way in which they behave can all depend on how the other person describes them. First Impression This can mean that their first impression of the other person won’t be formed through being in their presence; it will be formed through listening to what other people say. It then might not matter how accurate their descriptions are, as one can believe they are finding out what someone is like.
